Unshakeable Faith

Unshakeable faith.

As a believer there have honestly been moments, days, seasons where my faith has been tested. Doesn’t that happen to each of us at some time? Circumstance happen beyond our control and we think ‘Why did this happen?” Faith in God, means trusting God. Things happen and boom we all the sudden question God.

But God can be trusted. Why? Because He is trustworthy, He is faithful, He is our strength and He helps us.

Isaiah 41:10 “Don’t panic and be disillusioned for I am your God, I will help you, I will strengthen you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

Psalm 100:5
Verse Concepts
For the Lord is good;
His lovingkindness is everlasting
And His faithfulness to all generations.

Faith in and of itself is not the key. Faith in God.

For big things, and the little things.

Unshakeable Faith Because God can be trusted.

It is faith in the one who can be trusted.

Unshakeable Faith Because God can be trusted.

His word is true. John 14:6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

Circumstances change. People change. But God’s word says that He is steadfast.

God is Trustworthy

God is trustworthy and He is the One who always stands behind His Word in order to fulfill it. Jeremiah 1:12

Complete faith in God, that is unshakeable. Unshakeable faith. Deliberate confidence in Him. Everything around you can be falling apart and the world is collapsing…yet you have faith in God. There is a reason why we can have unshakeable faith. It is because God is faithful, He has good plans for us (Jeremiah 29:11) and not for evil, plans that are for our future and hope. That is what His word says, and His word reveals His character, His thoughts towards us and His love for us. We also know from His word that Satan comes to kill, steal and destroy and Jesus (God’s son) has come to give us life more abundantly. (John 10:10)

Focus on God’s Character-His word shows His character

Focus on God’s character. John 3;16 says “for God so loved the world that He gave His only Son that whoever would believe on Him would not perish but have everlasting life.” God’s character was that He loved the world and gave the most precious thing He had for the world.

HIs word says He loved us. He has good plans for us. He can be trusted. And that circumstances don’t define Him. His word does.

Because of His word we can trust Him. He promises to

help us, lead us, guide us and be with us. He is Emmanuel.

He is God with us.

Today is a good day for a fresh start. A re-start. A start over.

Father God help us. Be with us. Your name is Emmanuel which means “God with us.” Help us to see your goodness and faithfulness, and not focus our eyes on our circumstances which change with people and situations. Your word says you are trustworthy, faithful and good. I believe your word. You are not a liar.

I pray today would be a good day because you made it. Your mercies and goodness follow me today and everyday. (Lamentations 3:22,23)

In Jesus Name. Amen
