Top Ideas
Here are my top ideas for this.
-I try never to set paper down on a wrong location or surface.
-Place a basket or a container to corral all papers until you can go through the bills, the receipts, the wedding invitations and organize them. I immediately add important events and dates that need to the calendar.
-I try not to throw clothes on the floor but in the laundry room, hamper, or closet. The places that clothes go. If I had it to do all over again, each child when they turned 3 would have a ‘special’ hamper that they begin putting their clothes in. Like brushing their teeth, tying their shoes and learning their alphabet. Throwing clothes into the hamper should also be a big learning moment! haha!
-Always put food in the fridge, dishes in the sink, and trash outside.
Organizing and little steps
Finally, be happy with organizing little steps, little tasks that make straightening and cleaning easier. The reason you do all these things? So you can find your keys, computers, tablets, plug ins, and important papers when you need them the most! Avoid frustration.

I want to suggest like a friendly reminder, if a little bit of time is spent here then the rewards will be big. I remember crying because we could not find our car keys early on in our marriage. It was a common occurrence. Then when I decided to tackle the problem until I figured out a workable solution my situation changed.
Whatever the situation may be that you are facing, perhaps asking others what they do? Perhaps the answer or solution is nearer than you realize.

A game changer.
Game Changer!
Game changer! I remember asking a mom of 8 children how she organized her laundry. She had kids of all ages. She talked to me for 30 minutes about how she did organize the laundry and got the older kids to help put it away. But the thing she told me that changed everything was that she put all the older kids and her husbands socks in a basket, in the laundry room, near the dryer.
Only clean socks went in from the dryer. Every one was in charge of finding their own socks each day!
This was a GAME CHANGER. NO more folding and matching endless pairs of socks. I spent hours of my life matching sock and those hours could have been saved from that one tip that came from a real woman with a real solution.
More Importantly
More importantly, I often remind myself I am able to do all the things. Cleaning and laundry, working, paying bills, I am completely able to do all the things.
Quit Overwhelming myself
I also quit overwhelming myself with defeating thoughts and talk. It is amazing how often I have found myself being negative to myself.
Bonus Organizing Idea
Bonus Organizing Idea- I work at organizing my thoughts in the morning. I go over what I need to do. I pray for my day, for my family and other things I am facing. Then I go over scriptures that direct my purpose and my thoughts. I remind myself what God says in His word. Philippians 4:13 “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
Each day has purpose. When I get my eyes on God’s game plan and not on circumstances which change 50 thousand times a day ( I am exaggerating ) I am better able to have a better day.
God equips us with strength and direction.
Isaiah 41:10 says “Do not fear, do not anxiously look around you for I am your God. Surely I will strengthen you and help you and hold you up with my righteous right hand.”

I can do all things

“For I know the plans I have for you, plans for good to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah 29:11 Plans not circumstances. We are in charge of our day. Paying the bills, doing the laundry, going to work, helping kids with their day. We are in charge of what we can do. But they we pray and ask God to do what only He can do.
