Learning What You Don’t Know

2020! Working on some new goals for this year, and trying to figure out what that looks like. For my business at home I have been trying to learn some new techniques. My daughter told me YouTube has training videos for everything- just type in what you want to learn about and videos for those topics will come up.

So for my blog I’ve been watching how to create ebooks, write better, upload ebooks to Amazon Kindle, create landing pages, business links embedded in your blog, etc. I’ve thus far uploaded approximately 5 ebooks to Amazon Kindle and working on a few more this year.

I have goals, and I have hopes and dreams. So each week I’ve committed to learning something that will get me closer to my goals. My college degree sure isn’t helping me in this phase of life. But I can get smarter and work at educating myself, or ‘growing myself.’ I really just want to learn how to do some things on the computer. And…..I don’t want to be dumb and always say ‘well I don’t know.’ Also you can always pay someone to create things for you, but I am driven to learn myself.

Here is the point I want to make and encourage you with…..I can pray and God will help me BUT I have to do the learning and the growing. God can help me understand and He can help me figure out what it is I’m trying to learn.

But I’m in charge of growing, planting seeds, watering, weeding and then picking when the harvest is ready.

God won’t do what I’m supposed to do. And I can’t do what God will do. But both play a big part.

A calendar is simple to use and keeps a reminder in front of me what I am supposed to be doing. I’ve printed out the calendar below, click on Link to go there and get some incredible free printables for the New Year. I’m scheduling learning sessions for myself.

Here is a great website for a free calendar, planner, and goal making printables. Thought some of you might enjoy free stuff on the internet. 😊
