Hey everyone! With Christmas over I’ve realized it is time to regain control over chaos! There are pretty Christmas decorations all over my house, and they’ll get put away soon. But more than that things seem to slide during December because of all the activities, church functions, kids musical concerts, etc.
I’ve enjoyed all of it, how about you? We stayed home more this December than any other time I can remember. But we had a beautiful winter wonderland Christmas Carols night at church that was just incredible. I love drinking hot cocoa while listening to Christmas music.
Just a few more days and the new year begins.
Are you planning anything special? New goals? New things?
I’d love to hear about it.
Do you enjoy getting a new planner or calendar to plan your days? I do. I love to add scriptures, wonderful quotes and pretty calendars to the pages inside my planner.
I am a wife, mother, grandmother and a Christ Follower 100%. Being brought up in an incredible home with parents who loved God, and a father who memorized thousands of scriptures (photographic memory!) I was taught at an early age to know and love the Bible. Growing up I learned at a young age how to hear God's voice, memorize scriptures, mark my Bible (now Bible journaling) and to have a strong walk with Jesus Christ.
I have a passion to see women empowered and strengthened, with an unshakeable faith and walk with Jesus Christ. Creating a simple system (Good Words + Good Plans + Good days) to use in a Bible journal, planner or notebook, I believe we start our days first Seeking First our Savior. While making the necessary daily plans write a scripture promise, good word, motivational words at the top of your to do list. Proverbs 4:20-22 says the Word of God will lead, guide and help you. I think that it is imperative to keep that before our eyes rather than letting our To Do list dictate to us what our lives will be that day. Fulfilling God's destiny and raising incredible kids about sums up my hopes and dreams for this life!
Teaching and knowing the Word of God is something I love and live to do. I too now see the power of the Word of God bring healing, restoration and completeness to peoples lives. He and my mother instilled a strong faith and desire in me to know the word of God and use it as an anchor for my every day life. It is very exciting to now teach those same principles in the next generations of our family!
