Pray Plan Purpose

I hope you are having a wonderful week. We are waiting for our little grandson to arrive any day now. This will be our third this year and our 4th grandson. We are thrilled.

It is funny because we make plans, write to do lists, schedule appointments, and then something out of the regular schedule happens and changes everything!

Daily To Do 1a

My simple routine though keeps me anchored from getting upset if I can’t get everything done….like paying that bill that had to be paid, mailing that package right away, getting gas in the car so we don’t run out on the way to work….you know fairly important things.

PRAY PLAN PURPOSE

First I get up and have my coffee (with creamer) and sit down with my Bible. And I Pray. Praying has gotten simpler for me over the years. I pray the Lord’s prayer….

The Lords Prayer

I pray God help me! God lead me, guide me, close the doors to people and things I don’t need to be involved with, open the right doors with the right people that I need to help and be  a light to. And protection….I pray protection over our kids, grandkids…by name. Psalm 91 is a good protection chapter in the Bible. I pray that over everyone in our family. The basics. When I think of other things I pray and remind the Lord about those things to!

Next I decide my purpose for the day. Am I leading worship at church, or making dinner for little grandchildren….either way I decide my purpose, schedule, need to do actions and then I make my plans.

I love writing things down in my planner and found several printables for my planner @ Annie Plans Printables You purchase the file and then print out as many copies as you need.

Pray Plan Purpose

This simple thought process really helps me stay focused. It also helps me engage my thoughts with what my purpose it, not just my to do list.

Isaiah 40:31 says it very simply – ‘they that wait on the Lord will renew their strength, they will mount up with wings as eagles, they shall run and not grow weary and they will walk and not faint.’

Good words. Good plans. Good days!

Blessings,

Debbie Booth
